A Father/Daughter operation built on bringing our passion for coffee to every roast. We are dedicated to coaxing the best flavor from each coffee bean through the roasting process, ensuring the freshest and most flavorful coffee for our customers.

Our History
Since 1998, we have been roasting our specialty grade coffee beans, initially as Emerald Roast Coffee Company, now rebranded and relocated to Pensacola from the Chicago area, as Bellomo's Coffee Roastery.
We believe in passing down the art of coffee roasting. Today, our founder, John Bellomo, a Service Disabled, Navy retired Corpsman is teaching the nuances of this craft to the next generation, his Daughter, Danielle. Discover how our family tradition enhances the quality of every cup you enjoy. Our vision is simple: Roast the finest specialty grade, single origin Arabica coffee beans to perfection, on a roast to order basis, to provide the freshest roasted coffee available. Today, we continue that tradition.
Our Process
At Bellomo's Coffee Roastery, we take great care in every step of our coffee roasting process. From selecting the best Arabica coffee beans available, to our fluid bed roasting technique, we are committed to quality and consistency. We also offer suggestions on a variety of brewing methods, including Pour-over, French Press, Bialetti, Siphon Pot and Drip, so you can enjoy your favorite drink just the way you like it.

We are proud to be a part of the "Emerald Coast" community here in Pensacola and are committed to, and looking forward to supporting local events and organizations, like the "Kimberly Tauer Foundation". The Coffee Belt
The complexity of Coffee
Coffee is complex, in the way every wine has its own flavor profile, so does coffee. In fact, coffee is more complex in profile than wine. The coffee belt is located between the Tropics of Cancer and Capricorn. Each geographical area leaves its own flavor imprint based on altitude, soil, shade, sun, and temperature, from there the rest of the flavor magic happens in the roaster. It is the temperature and length of roast time that affects the flavors of specialty Arabica coffee. Most people have no idea that coffee can have amazing flavors without artificial flavorings, with notes of brown sugar, honey, caramel, milk or dark chocolate, berries, nuts, citrus, raisins etc. The Americas have mild balanced, nutty/spicy profiles with mild acidity, African coffees are generally bright acidic coffees with fruity floral notes, and Asian coffees are earthy, chocolatey sweet with a heavier body. Each level of roastyness brings out a different flavor of the roasted coffee beans.
